Conference Registration

Registration for LiP2027 – Language is Plural: Celebrating Multilingualism in Language Education will open on 1 January 2027.

Early Bird registration will be available from 1 January to 31 March 2027. The registration link will be published here in due course.

Participants who have submitted a proposal for the conference will be notified whether their proposal has been accepted by 28 February 2027 at the latest.

Early Bird rate: €320

Regular rate: €350

Non-Members

Early Bird rate: €350

Students

Student rate: €280

What Does the Conference Fee Include?

The conference fee includes:

  • Participation in the academic programme at the Main Building of the University of Vienna

  • Participation in the cultural programme, including readings, concerts and guided tours

  • Access to the exhibition by publishers and intermediary organisations

  • Participation in presentations by publishers and intermediary organisations

  • Participation in the Mayor's Reception at Vienna City Hall

  • Light lunch

  • Coffee breaks

  • Access to childcare at a reduced rate

Hotel Booking

After registration, participants will receive links to book rooms at selected hotels where room contingents have been requested for LiP2027. Accommodation is booked directly by participants.

Scholarships

We are currently exploring whether scholarships can be offered to support participation in LiP2027. Discussions with potential funding organisations are ongoing.
